Overview of WAEC GCE Second Series Timetable
The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) GCE exams are a crucial stepping stone for students aspiring to further their education. This year, the exams are scheduled to take place from Friday 27th October 2023 to Wednesday 20th December 2023, giving you ample time to revise and prepare effectively.
When Will the 2023 WAEC GCE Second Series Start?
WAEC GCE Second Series for 2023 is scheduled to start on Friday 27th October 2023. On this day, candidates who registered for Food and Nutrition and Home Management will write their practicals. The time for the scheduled examination is 09:30 am – 11:30 am.
Please note that WAEC will not tolerate any form of late-coming into the examination hall. Any candidate who arrives late does so at his peril during the GCE Second Series.
When Will the 2023 WAEC GCE Second Series End?
WAEC GCE Second Series is scheduled to be rounded up with Metal Work (Practical) on the 20th of December, 2023.

The Difference in Time on Question Paper and Timetable for GCE Second Series Timetable
Where the duration indicated on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, the one on the question paper should be followed.
Question Papers to be Given Out in Advance of the Dates They Are to be Taken
Visual Art 3
Paper 3A – Instructions will be given to supervisors two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
Paper 3B – Question papers will be given to candidates two weeks before the paper is due to be taken.
Extra Time for Candidates with Special Needs
Candidates with Special Needs should be allowed one and a half times the time allotted to other candidates.
