When will JAMB registration for 2024 begin?

When will the CBT Mock Examination be Held for 2024 JAMB?

The Computer Based Test (CBT) will start on Saturday, 29th April 2024, and end on Monday, 12th May 2024.

When will JAMB examination start in 2024?

The examination will be held between Saturday, 29th April 2024, and Monday, 12th May 2024. However, Direct Entry (DE) candidates is scheduled for Monday, 20th February to Thursday, 20th April 2024.

How to register for JAMB in 2024

To register for JAMB, you will need to generate a Profile Code. You generate a profile code by sending your NIN to 55019 or 66019 as a text message. JAMB Profile Code is the 10 digits that will be uniquely generated for you after sending your NIN to either of the aforementioned numbers.

3. Using your profile code to purchase JAMB e-Pin

What is the full meaning of NIN?

The full meaning of NIN is National Identification Number. NIN is an eleven (11) digit code that is unique to every citizen of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. If you do not have your NIN by now, visit the nearest NIMC office close to you before the close of this exercise.

How much is JAMB form 2024?

The amount to register for JAMB as of 2023 was four thousand seven hundred naira (₦4,700). This amount was the ultimate and no extra fee is expected to be charged by any organization. Consequence upon failure of candidates to show up for previous Mock examinations, candidates are to pay another #1,000 for the Mock examination. This payment is optional as it is only meant for the Mock examination alone. The new amount for the JAMB form will be announced as soon as the form is out. JAMB Registration 2024 requirement

The below are the key registration requirements for 2024 JAMB registration:

• National Identification Number (NIN)
• Profile code JAMB
• Phone number
• Email address
• O’level/A’level
• JAMB E-Pin
• Biometric data

Telephone Number

You need your phone number as this will be used for so many reasons before you can register for JAMB. Some of these reasons are:

• This is where JAMB will send your result
• This is where your admission status for your prospective institution will be sent
• Your profile code will be generated via this unique phone number
• You NIN is easily retrievable through the unique phone number.
• Others could be generation of OTP and e-mail address verification.

In other words, you can not afford to joke with your sim card that contains your mobile number. You can not lose it as this will be chaotic. You must also note that you can not check your result through another person’s phone. Not even your parents unless their phone numbers were used to generate the Profile Code.

E-mail for JAMB registration

A Google email address is required to create your JAMB profile.
You will use your email address and password to access JAMB CAPS to accept your participation in the JAMB portal.

O’level or A’level result

Your O’level result is very important when you are about to register for JAMB. This is the result you were given after the completion of any of the WAEC, NECO, or GCE examinations. The scores in it will be used to fill up the JAMB form. Okay, maybe your O’level result is not out yet and you want to register for JAMB, you must use an option called “awaiting result” on the portal. This enables you to defer the submission of your O’level result till the screening process for your school.

Caveat: You stand a chance of forfeiting your admission should your O’level result not be available before the school announces screening.

The A-level result is an advanced secondary result for direct entry candidates.

E-Pin

The next registration requirement for JAMB is the electronic pin from JAMB. This is a unique code that is generated for you during your registration. The below listed is an analysis of how the pin sums up to N4,700.

• JAMB Electronic-Pin = ₦3,500
• Reading Text = ₦500
• CBT Registration Fee = ₦700

Biometric Data or Biodata

This is very important. It is a form that encapsulates all the information listed below. Be sure to never make any mistake in filling this form as correction of any mistake attracts a fee and it is a waste of time. You will need to provide the following:
