Things to do before sitting for your JAMB (UTME) exam

What are the things to do before writing JAMB?

At the end of your JAMB registration, a CD and novel would be given to you. This CD contains the JAMB Brochure for the year and can only work on a computer. 3. Practice JAMB Past Questions with CBT. This will help you to get familiar with the computer. It’s no news that the Joint Admissions and Matriculations Examination is a computer-based test. So, you have to be “computer-friendly”. You do not need to register at a computer center to learn how to use a computer, just register with a tutorial center that renders the service. It is not wrong to practice with pen and paper or the traditional Past questions, but since it is computer-based, it is best to practice with a computer. 4. Start Studying Early: Remember the 5 Ps of success, “proper preparation prevents poor performance”. You should start studying for your JAMB examination some months before the examination, not a few weeks before the examination. You only have to read for the four (4) subjects you registered for. You have to discover your study habits and make amendments where necessary. Do not compare yourself to anyone. Everyone has their preferred time of the day when they can read and assimilate better. 5. Get a good reading table. Make yourself comfortable while reading. Do not sleep, lie down or bend your head over an object while reading for the exam. It creates room for distraction and laziness. Do not concentrate your efforts on just the subject you understand by leaving out the one in which you are weak. Make sure to balance your reading.
